I've been training with Jay & Jolin ( BAROT BROS FITNESS ) for a little over a month. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday we meet up at their gym in Signal Hill for late afternoon sessions after long hectic day at the office ! Jolin & Jay are always cheerful and motivating, and has the ability to constantly change up the routine so that it never gets boring. Our workouts have been a mix of boxing, circuit training with dumbbells, bands, foam rollers and stability balls. I have already noticed HUGE improvements-- especially in my core.
Jolin & Jay doesn't just focus on "weight loss". It's all about strength and endurance training. Any weight loss is just a side effect of getting in shape, getting active, and building up some muscle. But that makes it a sustainable weight loss that diets just can't ever provide. Which reminds me, Jolin and Jay can also do nutritional counseling and meal plans if you want so that you can maximize your outcome. Needless to say, I would definitely recommend BAROT BROS FITNESS to anyone looking to achieve immediate results.

I haven't been consistent with physical activity/exercise since my high school volleyball years and after meeting and working with the Barot Bros, my outlook on just staying and being physically active and fit was positive and hopeful.
To start, they are super nice and genuine guys that love what they do and it shows! They make working out fun and enjoyable; they go above and beyond what they are supposed to do by working on the areas they feel you need most work with through different exercises so it isn't the same workout each time. They push you to do and be your best not just during the workout but outside the workout in other aspects of life such as work and school in my case.
They don't force you to do any exercises you aren't comfortable with and the workout environment is very relaxing and easy going to say exactly how and what you feel! They also tell you what to eat and how much of it! That's a must for me since I'm always hungry! I've found that I'll be content and not too full with the food choices the bros have provided! They will accommodate with your schedule, therefore; if anyone is looking for trainers you'll get more than what you're looking for with the Barot Bros! You'll leave each workout session feeling great and proud of yourself like I do each time!

Barot Bros. is good as it gets! I have been training with the brothers for the last 4 months, 3 times a week. Not only are they extremely motivating, supportive, and super-encouraging, they are always listening to your concerns, taking the extra effort to go over your meal plans, what supplements to take, what food to avoid, and what foods to eat! They even go as far as recommending which fast-food's would be the "better choice" if you are in a hurry like me! Lol. Unlike some personal trainers, they do not make you weigh in every session, or scold you for cheating on meals. I commend the Barot Brothers for making the extra effort to study nutrition to be able to provide their clients with accurate information when they need it. They are incredibly fit, and it totally helps that they worked with the Los Angeles Clippers basketball players for their 2012-2013 season on their strength training and conditioning! They have given me the tools and guidance to reach my goals for my upcoming nuptials! So far, I've lost 15lbs! And continue shedding the weight with their superb training!

Jolin and Jaykevin have completely changed my life. As a former dancer, I gained weight after I stopped training. I worked out on my own for 15 yrs, trying every new fad, from weight watchers to gym memberships and more. I had periods where I was satisfied enough with my appearance, but never truly fit and in shape the way I wanted to be. A year after having my son I was fed up with feeling bad. I was tired of strategically dressing to cover my flaws. I began training with Jolin and my life changed dramatically. Not only did I reshape my post-prego body, but my spirit changed, as well. I slept better, had more energy, felt positive and energized. After a year, my contract was up, but Jolin & Jaykevin asked me to train with them outside of the gym. Of course I accepted excitedly!

I have been working out with the Barot brothers for well over a year now and I can't say enough good things about them. I workout avidly and try to switch up what I do on a daily basis so my muscles don't become used to any one exercise. No matter how I mix it up, I'm still sore after working out with the brothers. Every session is different with them and we target a different set of muscle groups each week. With them, I have discovered a new fondness for boxing and look forward to my weekly session with them!

My friend had been working out with Jolin and Jay-Kevin for a while and kept telling me how amazing they were. At the time I was running and cycling and didn't really think that I would benefit from working out with a trainer. I was so wrong! I have never worked so hard or sweat so much, and I have a blast every time I go in. Also, my running and cycling have definitely benefited from the increased flexibility and core strength that I've gained from my time with the Barot Bros.

"I never really liked working out and was never motivated to do so. But after working out with the Barot Brothers I have a new outlook on exercising. Before a work out I'm nervous and after I feel like collapsing. I look back on my years of training in sports through high school, club, and college, and am still impressed with Jolin's ability to push me every work out to the limit. Jolin reads my body like a book knowing when to go further and when I went far enough with each workout. The skill that both JayKevin and Jolin share in fitness is incredible. They possess a gift and knowledge of training that shows through their passion and commitment. Their ability to conform to your goal and needs is uncanny. Jay is a great combination of crossfit trainer and yoga instructor for me. I have had a few trainers over the past year and Jay is the only one who gets results AND knows my body. He pays attention to your bodies limitations without letting you make excuses...:) He is the ONLY trainer I have ever had that makes sure I have stretched before and after each workout which is huge in preventing injuries. "Sore! But best way to workout!! I was always an active person but work threw me off a bit with my workout program. The group workout definitely kicked me into gear. I've been going for a couple weeks now and I can already see results and feel more motivated to attain my goal. Go solo or with a friend and get a great workout while meeting new people. It’s great for beginners and athletic people, since they have a beginner’s version and a challenging version to every exercise we do.
